How to get AliExpress cashback
A guide for your first purchase, including the riskiest case — buying through the AliExpress app.
Step 1. Register
An email address and a password, nothing else. A phone number and card details are never requested. Confirming your email is needed to withdraw; creating links and earning works before that.
Step 2. Copy the product link
On the website, from the address bar. In the app, Share then Copy link. The app copies promotional text along with the link; paste it as is and we will strip the rest.
Step 3. Create the cashback link
Paste the link on the home page and press the button. You will see the product photo, price and cashback amount. If the product is not recognised, check the link points at a product rather than a store page or a search result.
Step 4. Buy through that link
Open the link and add the product to the cart after following it. Finish checkout in the same browser, and do not open the same product from search in parallel — the last click overwrites the one before it.
Buying through the mobile app
This is where cashback is lost most often. A link opened on a phone is frequently intercepted by the AliExpress app, and the affiliate marking from the browser goes with it.
- Safest is to open the cashback link in the phone browser and check out there.
- If the app intercepted it, go back to the browser, open the link again and choose to stay in the browser.
- Do not switch to the app mid-checkout to save time: that breaks the connection the same way.
Step 5. Check your wallet
Within hours the order appears as pending. If it is still missing after a day, the click most likely did not register. Causes and what to do are under FAQ.
